This episode was lost for a while but thanks to the eagle eyes of listener Ryan Slewinski, we discovered that this one was never presented.

Our discussion of the Babylon 5 episode “Eyes” is a valiant attempt to flesh out any real value to this lackluster Babylon 5 episode. In retrospect, I think it’s an episode that anyone checking out the Babylon 5 universe can just as easily skip. Certainly some good moments, but not enough to make you feel connected to the world of B5. It does however make me just want a sitcom of the adventures of Garibaldi and Lanier. Even just a cartoon would be fine. It would be like an alien version of The Odd Couple. I am certain for those of a certain age, My Favorite Martian and Mork & Mindy already did that but still, perhaps we need that oddness in our lives. Bond villains not withstanding, the Grey and Benzayne stories would be appropriate as a double feature with Garibaldi and Lanier on Saturday mornings. At least in my imagination, in a place where reality just went to a more silly place instead of the damned seriousness of this time, these things all happened. Tune in next time for less Meh.

This episode of Conspiracy of Light is an exploration of the Babylon 5 Episode- Grail. The story allowed Josue and I to explore questions of faith as well as science. Apparently neither one of us has an empty of full glass. Still it made for a good discussion, and if you like to hear us yammer, we do a lot of it.
Thanks for Listening.

This episode is a discussion between Josué and I about the Babylon 5 episode, “TKO”. I think it is fair to say that this episode of B5 is not one of the best, but for Josué and I, it generated a really good discussion about therapy and power over others. It was a fun discussion and I think you will agree that there is still something to say about this episode that is worth talking about.

In this episode, Josué and I examine Babylon 5 episode “Signs and Portents” from season 1. Half the fun of doing this with Josué is that I get to see the things I have already seen through new eyes. I sometimes will play right into his hand regarding the future, hinting at enigmas and shocks that wait around the corner. That’s fun. But what is most enjoyable is finding the tangents that we find in our discussion. This is especially true right now as we are working on second season episodes, but it begins here in this first season banter. We would love to know if you are taking the ride with us, so please let us know. But here is your koan for the day- What do you want? Can you tell us what you want, what you really really want?

Ok, Josué and I recorded this episode far before all of the things going on now in 2020. But protest has been with us more than ever since 2016. In this episode we examine the Babylon 5 Episode “By Any Means Necessary”. The episode itself is about dockworkers striking due to poor working conditions, and low pay. For Josué and I speaking about this episode, it is one of the most politically charged discussions we have had about Babylon 5. This is probably the start of Josué and I just feeling comfortable enough in our own attitudes that we are broadcasting, mostly without filter, our thoughts and feelings. In a sense, this is a darker episode, because we are talking about real world events through the eyes of Babylon 5. We had a great time with this one though. I believe we were both able to speak on a number of issues using Babylon 5 as the backdrop for the discussion. Please share and enjoy.
